Setting Up an AI Assistant

Note: TWM.One connects to Claude AI on your behalf but does not include a Claude subscription. You need your own Anthropic account to use the assistant. Sign up at claude.ai.

When started for the first time, Claude will prompt you to sign in to your Claude account. Check the support pages to learn how to sign up and set up Claude Code or the Claude Desktop clients.

TWM.One integrates with Anthropic's Claude AI through a built-in assistant panel. You can choose between two modes depending on how you prefer to work.

You can see blue AI button in the top-right area of the Admin panel.

Opening the AI Assistant Settings

Click the AI button on the Admin panel toolbar.

Alternatively, open Tools → Options and select AI Assistant from the left-hand tree.

Choosing an Assistant

The Select an AI assistant drop-down offers two assistant flavours: Claude Code and Claude Desktop. Claude Desktop allows voice input. Regarding TWM.One, both offer the same functionality. Choose the client that suits your preference.

Prerequisites

Both assistants require Git to be installed. If Git is not detected, a warning appears.

Click run to let TWM.One install Git automatically, or download and install it manually from the link (visit official Git donwload page). Automatic setup makes Windows to install Git for you.

Claude Code Setup

If Claude Code is not found, you will be prompted to set it up automatically or manually.

Click run to have TWM.One download and configure Claude Code automatically. If automatic setup fails, download and install Claude Code manually (visit Claude Code docs for the installation instructions), and then return to this panel.

Claude Desktop Setup

If Claude Desktop is not detected, the panel offers to install Claude Desktop from the link (visit Claude Desktop download page).

After installation, return to this panel and select Claude Desktop in the drop-down. TWM.One saves workspace settings for Claude Desktop. You have to close Claude Desktop for changes to take effect:

Close Claude Desktop from the menu (File → Exit) or from the system tray (right-click → Quit).

After Setup

Once the assistant is configured, press the AI button in the toolbar to launch it.

When opening a project for the first time, Claude will prompt you to confirm that you trust the directory path before proceeding.

You can make natural-language requests and the assistant will act on them using TWM's built-in tools: instruments, strategies, market data, and more.
